The Virgil Brothers "Temptation 'Bout To Get Me / Look Away" (1969)

   Семидюймовая грампластинка "Temptation 'Bout To Get Me / Look Away" австралийской группы The Virgil Brothers была выпущена в Нидерландах 1 августа 1969 г. на лейбле "Parlophone". Автором сингла был Diggs, би-сайда - Peter Doyle. Аранжировки - Johnny Arthey. Продюсер - David McKay. The Virgil Brothers впервые исполнили "Temptation 'Bout To Get Me" в программе мельбурнского телевидения ATV-0 "Uptight" в июне 1968 г.

   Один из комментаторов на сайте "45cat" пишет: "The guy on the right looks like Peter Doyle from the New Seekers" (он имеет в виду видео с исполнением сингла). Грампластинка была переиздана в Соединённом Королевстве, Нидерландах, Германии, США и Канаде. Мне больше нравится песня "Look Away". Самым красивым оформлением обложки отличились Нидерланды.

    В Австралии группа выпустила три сорокапятки "Temptation 'Bout To Get Me / I See Her Face" (июнь 1968 г.), "Here I Am / Shake Me, Wake Me" (сентябрь 1968 г.) и "When You Walk Away / Good Love" (1969).     The seven-inch LP "Temptation 'Bout To Get Me / Look Away" by Australian band The Virgil Brothers was released in the Netherlands on August 1, 1969 on the Parlophone label. The single was written by Diggs, the B-side by Peter Doyle. Arrangements by Johnny Arthey. Producer: David McKay. The Virgil Brothers first performed "Temptation 'Bout To Get Me" on Melbourne's ATV-0 television program "Uptight" in June 1968.

    One of the commentators on the 45cat website writes: “The guy on the right looks like Peter Doyle from the New Seekers” (he is referring to the video of the single being performed). The record was re-released in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, the USA and Canada. I like the song "Look Away" better. The Netherlands distinguished itself with the most beautiful cover design.

     In Australia, the group released three 45s, "Temptation 'Bout To Get Me / I See Her Face" (June 1968), "Here I Am / Shake Me, Wake Me" (September 1968) and "When You Walk Away / Good Love" (1969). Group history: "Formed in In early 1968, The Virgil Brothers were a so-called "blue-eyed soul" vocal trio whose style was largely copied from other famous sister groups of the sixties - The Righteous Brothers and The Walker Brothers.
